Founder and creative director VFX artist Olaf Louwinger holds over 15 years experience in creating high-end 3d visual content for companies of all sizes, from start ups to well established brands. His production experience in 3d animation and illustration enables him to apply the right mix of ingredients ensuring a high standard final product. ‘We aim to find innovative solutions for communication challenges by utilising the latest techniques in cutting edge animation.’

Pre Production. The first stage of production is to explore our client's objectives with down-to-earth and transparent communication. Taking into consideration timelines, budgets and resources, we will discover our client's communication objectives and aspirations.

We will conduct in-depth research into references and source materials so that we can ensure accuracy and gain a clear insight into our client's objectives.

From concept approval our experienced creative director, along with our team of 3D animators, illustrators and developers, will work together to translate storyboards into thoughtful and well-crafted artwork and animation.

Production Process

Connecting to audiences in a meaningful and creative way is key in delivering the point of a message. We will work with you to ensure each stage of the production process meets with approval.

Post production. The final phase is where your project receives it’s finishing touches.

For animations, all shots are rendered to the desired texturing and lighting style and composited with visual effects. Applications are tested and finalised into relevant formats and illustrations fine tuned, ready for print.

Production Process

The care and management of our work is as important to us as creating the ideas. With client feedback the creative work is edited, with the addition of audio effects, narration and visual fine tuning to produce the final piece.

Delivery. Finally we will entrust you with a high quality and effective design, delivered in relevant formats to suit an array of media platforms. This will be used to teach, inspire and differentiate your brand.

Once a project is complete, we will archive your data so that it can be easily updated as your product or service evolves.

What is different about Polymime?

Can a non-disclosure agreement for my project be agreed?

Projects are treated discreetly and under strict confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements can be entered as per client’s request.

What is included with my final deliverables?

Every project is different and customized to our client’s requirements, so anything included in your video will depend on your outline requirements. The video can include the script, storyboard, voice-over, editing, images from the animation, music and effects alongside the animation.

Who will own the copyrights?

Full perpetual animation copyrights on all final works are passed to our clients.

How long does it take to produce an animation

The average length to produce a 2-3 minute animation video is approximately 6-8 weeks. The production length for a still image will be a lot shorter. However, any production length will solely depend on the project and its requirements.
