Blood VFX. Blood is a bodily fluid that delivers necessary substances to the body's cells such as nutrients and oxygen and transports waste products away from those same cells. About 55% of blood is blood plasma, a fluid that is the blood's liquid medium.  Blood cells include many types of cells. Types of white blood cells are granulocytes. White blood cells account for about 1% of your blood, however, the impact is large. Neutrophils kill and digest bacteria and fungi. Eosinophils attack and kill parasites and cancer cells. Monocytes help to break down bacteria. Basophils help control the body’s immune response via secretions of chemicals such as histamine when infectious agents invade the blood. Lymphocytes (T cells and B cells), create antibodies to fight harmful bacteria and viruses Red blood cells (erythrocytes) carry oxygen from the lungs to the rest of the body. They are the most common type of blood cell. RBC (Red blood cells) contain a protein called hemoglobin which carries oxygen to body cells.
