How do you ensure the accuracy of 3D product modelling?2020-06-19T12:24:23+01:00

Our clients normally provide their models to us, so accuracy is ensured. We can also create models from other sources provided. By close collaboration with our clients we ensure that models are created to the highest standard of accuracy. Creating a product model from scratch will incur in a higher production cost. Please feel free to discuss this with us.

What is Polymime’s production process?2020-06-19T12:30:26+01:00

1 Pre-Production
A pre-production meeting allows us to identify the objectives, timelines, regulatory hurdles and budgets of a project. We research and review references & source materials to ensure our understanding of the project requirements are accurate, developing a clear insight into our clients’ objectives. Once an animation outline is in place, a detailed rendered storyboard is developed to ensure an effective and accurate final product.
2 Production
On approval of the storyboard, we set to work to deliver a preview quality draft depicting how scenes cut together, the user experience of an interactive application or the composition of an illustration. With client feedback the work is edited, with the addition of audio effects and narration.
3 Post-Production
The final phase is where a project receives its finishing touch. For animation, all shots are rendered to the desired texturing and lighting style and composited with visual effects. Applications are tested and finalised in relevant formats and illustrations fine-tuned, ready for print. If required, titles and captions are accompanied by a final audio mix before completion of the final piece.
4 Delivery
We can deliver in a wide range of digital formats to maximise the return on your investment. Animations, apps and stills can be re-purposed for broadcast television, online usage, exhibitions, stereoscopy, 360 video, virtual/augmented reality, PowerPoint and interactive PDF’s, iPads and smart phones, DVD’s, podcasts and print. Once your project is complete, we archive your data so that it can be easily updated as your products evolve.

What is the average animation duration?2020-06-19T12:19:32+01:00

The length of an animation will depend on the type and purpose of the animation. 2-4 min animation is common length for animations, however they can be as short as a few seconds or as long as you want. To discuss your requirements including length, please contact us.
