CGI Bacteria Bacillus video.   Bacteria do not grow and multiply the same way as animals or humans. They take in nutrients and reproduce by dividing – one bacteria splits and becomes two bacteria, two become four, four become eight and so on. Under ideal conditions, many types of bacteria can double every 20 minutes. Bacillus species are rod-shaped as our CGI video shows.  The vast majority of these bacteria are nonpathogenic, environmental organisms which can be found in soil, air, dust, and debris. These organisms typically dominate indoor air in occupied buildings, are abundant in dust and on surfaces.
